Wicca Spellcraft for Men

By A. J. Drew

Price:  $12.99

 Celtic Connection  Price $11.99

In Wicca Spellcraft for Men, A.J. Drew presents spellcraft from a male Wiccan perspective. He explains the difference between male energy, sometimes called projective energy, and female energy, sometimes called receptive energy and looks at how projective energy has almost been ignored in Wiccan spellcraft due to the politics surrounding female predomination of the Wiccan movement. He believes both energies are important and that the union of both of these for the purpose of creating the magickal child is usually overlooked.

Wicca Spellcraft for Men explains the workings of Wiccan spellcraft from a male point of view with special attention to the concerns men face in their day to day life. It provides the scientific principles of spellcraft and sensibly explains both the theory and practice of modern spellcraft. The discussion of practice separates goals into internal, external, and etheric change. In so doing, the reader is asked to pinpoint exactly what change he would like to cause: Is it really Robin (external) that you want to bring into your life, or is it the feeling that you are not loved (internal) that you wish to drive out of your life?

After the foundation of spellcraft has been explained, the book offers examples of spells that can be found in lore. Recipes for incense, oils, and other creations are given with clear instructions on recording how well these recipes work for the individual and amending the recipes to improve function.

A.J. Drew (Columbus, OH) is the host of the annual Real Witches Ball, one of the single largest pagan gatherings in the U.S. He is also the system operator, Webmaster, and host of neopagan.com, which was designed to become a hub for the entire pagan community and is succeeding. He is the owner of one of the largest Wicca/pagan shops in the Midwest, Salem West, and is the author of the successful book Wicca for Men.
